Position PurposeThe
People Services Specialist / Senior Specialist is responsible for executing key HR operational services, including employee onboarding, records management, offboarding, and administrative support for employee discipline and grievance processes.
Reporting to the
Head of Shared Services or
People Services Manager/Officer, this role ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery, compliance with company policies and local labor laws, and contributes to a positive employee experience across the organization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Address and resolve escalated operational concerns from the Admin and EVHR teams
- Roll out HR projects, initiatives, and company policies across assigned sites
- Handle disciplinary cases (Class A-D) in coordination with HR leadership
- Collaborate with Admin and Total Rewards teams in the preparation of payroll-related reports
- Maintain and create 201 files, including proper documentation and backup records
- Maintain and update Microstatus profiles, including employee assignments, compensation, and records
- Escalate urgent employee concerns to the HR Manager as necessary
- Facilitate town halls, employee events, and company-wide programs in collaboration with other departments
- Participate in operations and admin site lead meetings
- Conceptualize and implement employee engagement activities (within budget), such as birthday celebrations and work anniversaries
- Facilitate employee ramp-up and rehire processes coordinate with Talent Acquisition on onboarding, PEME, and requirements
- Administer company-provided and government-mandated employee benefits
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to separation (EOC, redundancy, termination)
- Prepare and submit required reports to DOLE during redundancy cases
- Attend DOLE arbitration meetings related to escalated termination cases
- Perform other tasks as assigned based on business needs and management direction
Qualifications- At least 1 year of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or a related role
- Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and a keen interest in HR operations may also be considered
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and regulations is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or local HRIS platforms) is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent HR service
