Your Role
As a
People Services Specialist/Senior Specialist - ESG, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ESG projects, including carbon footprint reduction programs, waste management protocols, and social impact initiatives.
- Create detailed project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
- Partner with department heads (People and Partnership, Procurement, Facilities) to integrate ESG requirements into standard operating procedures.
- Manage the collection, aggregation, and auditing of ESG data across the enterprise to ensure the integrity of annual sustainability reports.
- Coordinate with external consultants, environmental auditors, and third-party vendors while overseeing the implementation of ESG software platforms.
- Execute necessary actions to remain compliant with evolving ESG regulations such as CSRD or SEC requirements through gap analyses.
- Translate complex ESG performance data into actionable progress reports and internal toolkits for leadership and employees.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Proven experience in the end-to-end execution of ESG initiatives and driving operational implementation.
- Strong expertise in managing sustainability projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in utilizing ESG management software for data collection, validation, and real-time performance tracking.
- In-depth understanding of environmental, governance, and social commitment translation into audited results.
- Ability to troubleshoot implementation hurdles and manage complex vendor and partner relationships.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Experience in developing internal toolkits and training materials for organizational sustainability duties.
- Familiarity with conducting gap analyses for regulatory compliance (e.g., CSRD, SEC).
- Experience in a BPO or Managed Services environment.
