Your Role

As a People Development Officer, you will:

  • Design and develop comprehensive learning programs, workshops, and courses using various instructional design methodologies and engaging materials.
  • Deliver effective training sessions and presentations to diverse employee groups, adapting styles to suit different learning preferences.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses across various departments utilizing surveys, interviews, and performance data.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development while promoting internal knowledge sharing and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with department heads, HR Business Partners, and SMEs to ensure L&D initiatives support their specific objectives.
  • Track and analyze the impact of People Development programs to continuously improve our learning offerings.
  • Manage training schedules, logistics, and the company's Learning Management System (LMS) to maintain accurate documentation.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Proficiency in LMS and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience in a BPO or corporate environment in the Philippines.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to training and development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
