Your Role: As a People Development Officer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating effective learning programs and initiatives that align with our organizational goals and employee development needs. You will:

  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses across various departments utilizing surveys, interviews, and performance data.
  • Design and develop comprehensive learning programs, workshops, and courses using various instructional design methodologies.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to diverse employee groups, adapting styles to suit different learning preferences.
  • Research and recommend external training resources while maintaining the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Partner closely with department heads and HR Business Partners to ensure L&D initiatives support their objectives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of new employee onboarding programs to ensure effective integration.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and stay updated on emerging L&D industry trends.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Proficiency in LMS and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience in BPO or corporate environments in the Philippines.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws related to training and development.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
