Position Purpose
The HR Manager Philippines role is required to provide organizational advantage to the business by primarily focusing on increasing the level, scope and effectiveness of HR tools and services to the Philippine business.
Provide partnership with the different functions in the business to deliver functional support and build leaders capability in the areas of manpower planning & recruitment, training & development, employee relations, rewards management, personnel admin services, and other elements of leading and engaging a workforce.
Responsibilities
- Develop HR tools to assist leaders to be more effective people leaders.
- Partner with Managing Director and other functional heads and provide HR advice, coaching, support and services for them and their team.
- Coach and support managers to handle counselling and disciplinary matters including non-performance, etc.
- Review, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to keep the Philippines business up to date with legislative requirements and manage risk for the business.
- Increase the bench strength of the business through targeted recruitment and relevant retention strategies.
- Effectively deploy performance management and reward processes and practices to drive desired performance results.
- Assist the leaders to drive a high-performance culture in the business.
- Ensure operational support are conducted in an effective and efficient manner and continuously seek for process improvement.
- Oversee and manage office administration requirements.
- Drive diversity, employee engagement and other people initiatives.
- Report on relevant legislative and other HR requirements.
- Act as a change agent by providing support and resources to move the organization forward to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of metrics to demonstrate the business impact of leadership and organizational development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years relevant experience.
- Experience and knowledge in a variety of areas in Human Resources such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, engagement, career development and performance management.
- Skilled ability to provide business needs analysis and strategic planning.
- With strong knowledge on PH labor laws and regulations.
