About The Job
The primary role is to be responsible for independently managing payroll and timekeeping activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The role involves advanced data validation, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination, as well as active participation in process improvements and payroll-related projects.
What You'll Do
- Independently collate, validate, calculate, and submit timekeeping and payroll data to the Data Management Team
- Perform in-depth payroll and timekeeping validation, ensuring accuracy of attendance, leave, overtime, and special pay components
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries via HC Connect
- Act as a point of contact for payroll- and timekeeping-related concerns of People Managers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and payroll controls
- Support payroll runs, adjustments, retro payments, and special processing requirements
- Participate in payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting activities
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and project-based initiatives
- Provide guidance or peer support to junior team members when required
What You Need To Have
- Strong attention to detail with end-to-end payroll processing experience
- Proven experience in timekeeping validation, payroll adjustments, and reconciliations
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to identify trends or recurring issues
- Proficient in payroll/timekeeping systems and MS Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee data with discretion
- Working knowledge of DOLE rules and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, tax)
- Experience supporting payroll projects, audits, or system changes
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to make sound decisions
