Job Description

Job Description:

  • Gathers information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of a computer system
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
  • Handles Alphalist and BIR 2316 of the employees
  • Handles final pay computation of the resigned employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other related fields
  • Has at least 2 full years of PH payroll experience
  • Has exposure to client-based payroll operations
  • Knowledge in SSS/PHIC/HDMF remittances
  • Knowledge in excel/manual payroll and payroll system
  • Preferably with experience in a shared service or BPO environment
  • High attention to details, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
