We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated HR Payroll Officer to manage the payroll functions for our Australian client. The role involves processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws and awards, and supporting general HR and payroll administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including timesheet verification, salary calculations, deductions, and leave adjustments
  • Ensure payroll compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards, and superannuation requirements
  • Assist with client payroll deployments and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies or queries
  • Support superannuation administration and payment processes
  • Adhere to company policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Assist with audits and payroll-related enquiries as needed

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, particularly within the Australian market
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, taxation, and superannuation compliance
  • Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems, preferably Employment Hero
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll transactions
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Australian clients or understanding of Australian workplace culture
  • Familiarity with Australian payroll software such as MYOB, Xero, or similar
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role is subject to a number of skills and practical tests.

This position is an onsite role at our Pampanga office. Candidates must be willing to work on-site.
