Your Role
As a
Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, complete with supporting reports and journal entries.
- Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
- Respond to assigned payroll queries and provide support to employees.
- Generate government contribution, loan, and withholding tax reports.
- Perform year-end reporting and a variety of routine office or clerical duties.
- Collaborate actively with the team to achieve departmental goals as directed by the Payroll Manager or VP of Finance.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and taxation (BIR Form 2316).
- Strong knowledge of government-mandated benefits and loan reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and journal entries.
- Ability to handle ad hoc administrative tasks and support departmental goals.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience in a BPO or high-volume managed services environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for handling payroll-related inquiries.
