Payroll and HR Specialist (50K | Remote | FREE AI Certification)

Anywhere in the Philippines | Remote | 9:00 PM6:00 AM PH time | MondayFriday

ROLE OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Payroll and HR Specialist where you will lead the seamless administration of payroll for a diverse and dynamic seasonal workforce across the US and UK. You'll be ensuring compliance, accuracy, and the timely processing of payroll for up to 1500 employees in the US and 500 in the UK at the peak of our operational season. Your role will also include maintaining our HRIS data integrity and addressing payroll-related employee inquiries in a fully remote capacity.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume, multi-state U.S. payroll operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data review and reporting.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, with global/UK exposure being advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Strong Signals

  • Experience with platforms like Rippling or Payplus.
  • Prior experience with seasonal, temporary, or contingent workforces.
  • Expertise in handling payroll compliance issues both in the US and UK.

Seasonal Payroll Administration

  • Ensure flawless payroll processing in a high-volume, multi-state, and international context.
  • Process weekly payroll for US and monthly for UK seasonal workforce.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Specialist for consistent payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Manage efficient onboarding and offboarding procedures for seasonal staff.
  • Coordinate payroll onboarding and ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding onboarding requirements.

HRIS Data Integrity & Compliance

  • Maintain and audit employee records to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HRIS to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT and People & Culture for seamless HRIS operations.

Employee Support & Payroll Inbox Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing efficient and professional guidance.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Escalate complex issues while maintaining data confidentiality.
