Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to oversee all aspects of payroll and employee benefits administration. This critical role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, strict adherence to government regulations, and efficient management of employee benefits for all company personnel.

Work Setup: Onsite

Location: Makati City

Work Schedule: 10am-7pm | Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accurate and compliant bi-monthly payroll for all employees, following company policies and government regulations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Manage final pay calculations and disbursements for separated employees.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual government reports and payroll documentation, including annualization, alpha lists, and bank file uploads.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and communication with benefit providers.
  • Maintain ongoing liaison with government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Assist employees with loans and maximize utilization of government benefits.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries or complaints related to payroll and benefits accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in the processing and facilitation of payments to third party vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and secure employee attendance sheets, payroll records, and payroll documentation.
  • Create and manage accurate reports on payroll expenses, benefits, and deductions for upper management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all payments and expenses for audit purposes.
  • Assist in year end reporting and the issuance of annual tax forms in collaboration with payroll providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accounting Related Course
  • 2+ years of end to end Philippine payroll experience for 200 headcount
  • Proven background in manual and Excel-based payroll processing
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience preparing and filing BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG reports
  • Strong working knowledge of labor standards, government benefits, and audit protocols
  • Strong coordination skills and comfort working with HR, Finance, and external partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available to Start Asap
