Identify,evaluate, and onboard local payment partners in the Philippines, including PSPs (e.g., Dragonpay, PayMongo, GCash, Maya) and banking institutions
Build and expand reliable payment channel resources to support business growth
2Commercial Negotiation & Execution
Leadcommercial negotiations and contract execution with partners
Ensure favorable terms, including MDR, technical integration agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs)
3 Partnership Management
Act as the primarypoint of contact for payment partners
Maintain strong, long-term relationships and resolve operational or technical issues
4Market & Regulatory Insights
Monitor local payment market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities
Identify potential risks and provide strategic recommendations
5Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to drive smooth API integration and optimize payment performance
Requirements
Preferably a Filipino national, willing to be based in Manila
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services
Strong network with major Philippine banks (e.g., BDO, BPI, UnionBank) and/or leading PSPs is required
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
Basic understanding of payment flows and API integration is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for effective communication with HQ and regional teams
Experience in merchant acquiring (banking) or with a payment service provider (PSP) is highly preferred
