You don't need someone to tell you it's the end of the month. You already have your close process mapped out. You know what needs to happen, in what order, and you do it the same way every time - because consistency is what keeps the books clean.

When an automated workflow flags something weird, you don't just clear the alert. You dig in. You figure out what actually happened, whether it's a duplicate payment, a mismatched invoice, or a fee buried in a transfer description. You're not here to rubber-stamp what the system says. You're here to catch what it misses.

About us

We're a paid advertising agency that's been operating for 8 years and has grown from 20 to over 40 clients this past year. Our team of 9 is fully remote, and we run on modern tools: Wise, Revolut, Stripe, Google Workspace, Zapier, and Asana are part of daily operations.

We have high standards for who joins the team. We invest in training, give clear documentation, and provide honest feedback with respect. The goal is always to help someone get better.

We've automated a significant portion of our bookkeeping with Zapier. Your job is not to replace the automation, it's to fill the gaps it doesn't cover, spot issues it misses, and make sure the financial picture stays accurate.

You're managing the finance function for a growing agency - reconciling across multiple bank accounts, overseeing automated workflows, preparing payments, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Your month looks like this:

Process payroll and client payment collection across Wise and Revolut. Reconcile bank statements and flag discrepancies. Review and fill gaps in our automated accounts receivable and payable workflows. Follow up on outstanding invoices. Prepare monthly financial summaries and cash flow snapshots. Coordinate with our external accountant for tax preparation. Maintain and improve SOPs for the finance function.

What we're looking for

Must-haves: 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Double-entry proficiency

Comfortable working across Wise, Revolut, Stripe, Google Sheets, and Zapier

This is not an Excel-only role

Strong attention to detail

Fluent english

Available during CET business hours

Reliable internet connection.

Nice to have:

Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or Wave

Background in bookkeeping for agencies or US-based businesses
