What are we looking for
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program
- 3+ proven experience as a Family Law paralegal.
- Must be a Juris Doctor
- MUST HAVE US Family Law experience
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures, legal terminology, and document preparation.
- Proficient in using ADOBE applications.
- Proficiency in Legal Software - WestLaw and Clio
What will you do
- Client Support:
- Provide excellent client service by assisting with inquiries, gathering necessary documentation, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Legal Research:
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and financial disclosure statements.
- Court Filings:
- Manage court filings, including e-filings, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.
- Case Management:
- Assist in managing and organizing case files, schedules, and deadlines.
- Communication:
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary.
- Trial Preparation:
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness interviews, and trial logistics
