Role Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will manage assigned personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation, ensuring all milestones are met. You will work closely with attorneys, case managers, and clients to support case development and ensure accurate, litigation-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation
Coordinate and follow up on medical records, billing, and treatment summaries
Initiate and maintain Property Damage (PD) and Personal Injury (PI) claims with insurance carriers
Draft and send Letters of Representation (LOR), record requests, and legal correspondence
Review and organize case files to ensure accuracy and completeness
Communicate with clients to provide case updates and obtain required documents
Liaise with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and third parties to support case development
Request and analyze police reports and other supporting evidence
Assist in preparing demand packages, settlement documents, and litigation support materials
Maintain detailed case notes and ensure compliance with firm procedures and deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
Familiarity with legal documentation, claims processing, and case management
Night shift availability
Bachelors/ Degree
