Job Description

The Specialist – Paralegal supports the Governance Team in ensuring assigned Business Units comply with reportorial and regulatory requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), and other governing bodies.

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate corporate records, managing stock transfer books, and supporting corporate housekeeping to uphold strong governance standards across the organization. The position also assists in delivering key governance initiatives and ensuring timely completion of annual regulatory and compliance obligations.

What You Will Do

  • Corporate Housekeeping and Maintenance (AEV-managed BUs): Ensure assigned Business Units comply with SEC requirements by managing corporate secretarial work, board and shareholder meeting documentation, regulatory filings, amendments, stock transfer records, and coordination with the SEC.
  • Compliance Requirements of Publicly Listed Companies (AEV): Support the timely preparation and filing of PSE and SEC disclosures, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure adherence to board and shareholder meeting protocols for publicly listed entities.
  • Record Keeping & Operational Support: Maintain complete and organized corporate records, manage compliance calendars and submissions, and provide administrative and regulatory support to ensure timely completion of team deliverables and governance initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management or any related four-year course.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, paralegal work, or a compliance-related role, preferably within a listed company.
  • Working knowledge of SEC and PSE reportorial and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in preparing corporate documents such as board resolutions, minutes, and regulatory filings.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines.
