The short version
We're a Palantir Foundry and AIP specialist firm. We help organisations turn messy, broken data into software people use to make decisions. Small team. Fast. No fluff.
We need someone who can build in Foundry, talk to clients without making their eyes glaze over, and figure things out without being hand-held. If you've spent 2+ years building real things in data
science, data engineering, or operational tooling, and you can't imagine working without LLMs anymore, keep reading.
What Vanyar is
We're not a big consulting firm. We're a focused team going deep on Palantir Foundry and AIP. We build operational workflows, ontologies, pipelines, Workshop apps, and AIP agents. Engagements move in weeks, not quarters. We prototype in days.
You're early to the business and what you do here will shape the future of the company.
Where you'll be based
This role is open in India or the Philippines. Hybrid or remote, your preference. We have offices and team in both, plus regional clients who value working with people in their time zone.
What the job looks like
You'll sit with clients, understand what's broken in their operations, and build the Foundry application that fixes it. Designing ontologies. Writing transforms. Building Workshop apps. Wiring up AIP agents.
Getting your hands dirty with real data that's never as clean as you want it to be.
You'll have exposure to the full lifecycle of Palantir deployments. Scoping, data integration, the application, user training, fixing what breaks after launch. There's no handoff to another team. You are the team.
What we need from you
Two things above everything else. You learn fast. You build things that work.
We don't care where you went to school. We care that when you're dropped into a new platform or domain, you figure it out in days. Not because someone trained you. Because that's how you operate.
You need to be AI-native. If you're still deciding whether AI tools are worth using, we're not a fit.
Beyond that:
- 2+ years building real things in data science, data engineering, or operational tooling. Shipped products. Working pipelines. Tools people actually used.
- Strong Python and SQL. PySpark or distributed computing a plus.
- Can explain technical decisions to non-technical people without being condescending or confusing. Harder than most engineers think.
- Would rather ship something imperfect on Monday than present a perfect plan on Friday.
What would make us really excited
- You've used any Palantir product before. Foundry, AIP, certifications, client work, personal projects, anything.
- You've done forward-deployed engineering. Building on-site with client teams.
- You know TypeScript well enough for Workshop front-ends.
- You've deployed ML or LLM integrations to production. Not just notebooks.
How we hire
No leetcode. No trick questions. No six-round process.
We'll have a conversation about what you've built and what problems interest you. Then a small take-home that looks like real client work. Messy data, ambiguous requirements, tight timeline. Then a
working session where we build something together.
About a week, end to end. We respect your time.
One more thing
We'd take one generalist who thinks from first principles over five specialists who only work inside their lane. The people who do well here are T-shaped. Deep in one thing, dangerously curious about
everything else. They don't wait for permission. They don't need a lot of context to start moving.
If that's you, hit apply or send your CV and a short note to [Confidential Information].
Better yet, send us something you've built. A Foundry project, a side project, a demo, an open-source contribution. Anything that shows you can build. That'll always matter more than credentials.
