Job Description
Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.
Summary: As a Packaged Software as a Service Application Engineer, your typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or Software as a Service applications to meet evolving business requirements. You will manage application features, oversee release processes, and ensure the stability and performance of systems. Collaboration with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility is a key aspect of your role. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system functionality. - Document configuration changes and maintain clear records to support knowledge sharing. - Assist in the testing and deployment of new releases to ensure smooth transitions. - Continuously seek opportunities to improve application processes and user experience. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong knowledge of application configuration and support within packaged or Software as a Service environments. - Experience with APIs and integration techniques to extend application capabilities. - Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and streamline business solutions. - Ability to analyze system performance and implement corrective actions to ensure stability. - Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
