Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The position is primarily responsible for conducting job analysis and developing structured job descriptions to ensure role clarity, accountability, and alignment with the approved organizational structure. The position is also responsible for performing systematic job evaluation and assessment to determine appropriate job levels and rank ranges while maintaining consistency and internal equity across the organization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Profiling and Documentation

  • Develops and maintains comprehensive job profile for all positions within the approved organizational structure across Pioneer companies.
  • Facilitates alignment meetings with team heads to identify job scope and role clarity.
  • Secures approval of job descriptions from immediate superiors prior to job evaluation.
  • Maintains job description inventory to ensure control and traceability.
  • Conducts periodic job description reviews (e.g., annual, triggered by restructuring, or based on org changes)

Job Analysis and Evaluation

  • Sends out Job Analysis Questionnaire and administers structured interviews to gather accurate information on the role.
  • Addresses duplication, scope overlap, and role misalignment within and across units.
  • Documents job analysis interview identifying scope definition, accountability, and complexity assessment.
  • Executes job evaluation using the organization's approved methodology. Ensures internal equity and consistency.
  • Recommends appropriate job levels and range of ranks based on evaluation and justification.

Benchmarking and Stakeholder Support

  • Conducts external and internal benchmarking studies (job family, industry practices, org position comparisons) to support job design and leveling.
  • Provides guidance on role clarity and scope definition to supports leaders in ensuring alignment with job design frameworks and standards.
  • Supports organization design initiatives (e.g., restructuring, role rationalization, functional re-alignment).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must be a graduate of any business-related, Behavioral Science or Human Resource related courses.
  • At least three (3) years of working experience in job analysis, job documentation and job design/grading frameworks
  • With keen attention to details
  • Collaborative, Agile and Resourceful
  • Creativity and strategic communication planning
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • With excellent attention to detail, Organizational Savvy and Results oriented
  • Willing to work in Makati City and BGC
