Roles and responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between Oracle Fusion Applications and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP, and REST APIs.
- Work with functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure seamless and secure data flow between applications, adhering to best practices and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion Applications using tools like FBDI and ADFDI.
- Develop scripts and processes for data transformation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Validate and reconcile converted data, working closely with business users to ensure data integrity and compliance with business requirements.
- Document data conversion processes and provide training to users on data-related functionality.
- Design and develop custom reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View to meet business needs.
- Analyze reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications for report development.
- Optimize reports for performance and ensure they provide accurate, timely, and relevant data insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and resolve any issues with existing reports.
- Document technical designs, integration workflows, data mapping, and report specifications.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support documentation for customized solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing integrations, data processes, and reporting solutions.
- Stay updated with Oracle Fusion technological advancements and integrate innovative solutions into the current technical landscape.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical development within Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Proven experience in integrations, data conversions, and report development.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and familiarity with ERP, HCM, SCM.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP, REST APIs, and data migration tools like FBDI and ADFDI.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and other integration technologies. Competency in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View for report development.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Oracle certifications related to development in Oracle Fusion Applications are preferred
