Job Description

A DBA is responsible for the day-to-day management of the database environment. This includes monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. The DBA will sometimes be responsible for database design and implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Monitor and tune the database environment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with databases and related systems
  • Experience in installation, upgrades, and patch management for Oracle and MSSQL databases.
  • Design and implement databases to meet business requirements. (Good to have).
  • Perform data modeling, data analysis, and data administration tasks
  • Perform backup and recovery operations
  • Manage database administration tasks such as logins, users, and permissions, among others.
  • Minimum of 3 years and above experience as a DBA or Database Administrator

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To be successful DBA, you must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively, learn new technology quickly, have patience, and show initiative.

Other Details:

  • Amenable to work on weekends and holidays Morning and Mid-Shift Schedule

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 days per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
