YOUR ROLE

Perform analysis and repair and shares knowledge on FT Line Sustaining activities within the framework of production encompassing Test and Finish shop floor in accordance with company guidelines and requirements, with the objective of providing utmost support to achieve FT operation's KPI targets.

The FT Line Sustaining Technician is the key person to perform in analysis and repair, shares knowledge to peers in terms of competency and also execute implementable improvement actions to ensure high machine uptime and providing utmost support to achieve continuous line operation to meet FT operation's KPI targets.

  • Consistently reports to work as per assigned schedule and able to support technically at least two (2) major platforms / sub-platforms
  • Efficiently utilizes resources inherent to line support and maintain spending within allocation
  • Propose and/or execute improvement and/or breakthrough solutions coming from in depth analysis and repair and line experiences through technical solutions and line sustaining way of working
  • Conform to basic documentation requirements as deployed to Line Sustaining Group to all pertinent systems and procedures encompassing repair and maintenance line of operations
  • Disseminate, Implement and Monitor compliance on rules, regulations and practices related to safety, health, environment and proper housekeeping (5S)

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Any Technical Course, preferably Electrical/Mechanical Courses
  • With 4 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment, at least 2 years in Final Test or Finish
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA, Error Proofing, 4D/8D, PDCA, and Problem-Solving Tools
  • Computer Literate and with good communication skills
  • Knowledgeable on Test Procedures and General semiconductor product /application
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor business industry
  • Training / Skills / Knowledge on Six Sigma is an advantage
