Qualifications:
- Preferably graduate of Industrial Engineering or other related engineering courses.
- With at least three (3) years of working experience in a manufacturing set-up, at least two (2) year.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge in structured problem-solving (e.g., RCA, CAPA reporting, etc.)
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Job Description:
The Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with company objectives. This role leads a team, coordinates with clients, and drives continuous improvement in processes and performance.
- Serve as the focal person for the assigned business unit and ensure alignment with operational objectives.
- Drive the achievement of target production and operational results, with focus on volume, yield, quality, and line efficiency.
- Participate in the planning and execution of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production volumes, cost targets, quality standards, and manpower requirements.
- Identify operational gaps, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive action plans.
- Proactively coordinate with the client to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of day-to-day operational requirements.
- Present operational issues, resolution plans, and performance updates to the client as needed.
- Verify, approve, and release daily manpower schedules based on operational and client requirements.
- Ensure fair and consistent implementation of Company Rules and Regulations (CRR), including employee counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Cascade policies, guidelines, and operational directives to line personnel through memoranda, group discussions, and toolbox meetings.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) through enforcement of housekeeping standards before, during, and after production activities.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols across all operational activities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Facilitate and participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives affecting quality, safety, and productivity.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure availability of required tools, equipment, production supplies, PPEs, and other materials through regular inventory monitoring and coordination.
- Prevent operational disruptions by proactively addressing shortages and equipment readiness issues.
- Prepare and submit regular operational metrics and performance reports to the Operations Manager.
- Manage revolving fund transactions and prepare complete replenishment documentation (including necessary attachments) for submission to the Finance Department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate superior or management.
