Responsibilities

• Team Management
• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
• Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
• Facilitate effective communication
• Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
• Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice
• Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels
• Responsible for the execution and support of the inventory control processes such as Cycle count, Stock take and scrapping. This includes implementation of controls to monitoring of actual performance.
• Maintains strong collaboration with inventory supervisor particularly on the investigation of variances.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in warehousing management in 24/7 operations
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Minimum of 1year experience of team management
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
• Knowledge on Quality, Health & Safety requirements
• Background in Warehouse Management System
