Job Description: Operations Manager

Location: Waikoloa Beach Resort – Cabangan, Zambales

Reports To: Owner / Managing Director

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end daily operations of Waikoloa Beach Resort. This role ensures operational efficiency, excellent guest experience, disciplined cost control, staff accountability, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong presence on-site, long working hours during peak operations, and full commitment to the resort's success.

Key Responsibilities

(unchanged – operations, HR, finance, inventory, facilities, compliance, reporting)

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in hotel or resort operations

• Prior experience in beach resorts, provincial resorts, or owner-managed properties is a strong advantage

• Solid background in:

• Staff supervision and scheduling

• Cost control and inventory management

• Basic accounting and cash handling

• Vendor and contractor management

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Results-driven and cost-conscious mindset

• Able to implement and enforce SOPs consistently

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Comfortable handling guest complaints and operational crises

• Basic proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and PMS/booking systems

Work Commitment & Location Requirements

• Must be willing to work long hours, including:

• Weekends

• Holidays

• Peak season and high-occupancy periods

• Must be willing to relocate and work full-time in Cabangan, Zambales

• Willing to stay on-site or be on-call as operational needs require

• Flexible schedule with availability outside regular office hours
