1.1Strategy and Development
1.1.1Responsible for the overall activities and performance of Operations department including implementation and maintenance of company's Operations procedures and initiating improvements for the department
1.1.2Ensures the department's conformance to the company's quality systems in accordance with customer specifications, internal quality requirements and manufacturing standards
1.1.3Determines and enforces through cross-functional team productivity, product quality, food safety and occupational safety requirements in accordance with customer requirements and regulatory requirements and standards
1.1.4Reviews and improves operational management systems, processes and best practices
1.1.5Develops and prepares annual capital expenditure proposal and budget for operations department
1.2Planning
1.2.1Ensures that Production and Materials Planning are carried out in accordance to good commercial and quality practices at the least possible cost.
1.3Purchasing
1.3.1Ensures that the materials purchased are carried out in a legal, ethical and moral manner.
1.3.2Ensures that cost down initiatives are in place and promptly monitored to improve I&P
1.3.3Reviews the forecast prices on a quarterly basis and approves forecast prices every Budget Year.
1.4Manufacturing
1.4.1Reviews, reports and analyzes the production lines operations as to target achievements
1.4.2Develop, implement and assess KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and other manufacturing efficiencies
1.4.3Reviews the budget setting of labor complement, expenditures and other production costs
1.4.4Participates in the short-term and long-term expansion plans of the factory
1.4.5Actively pursue improvement options in the factory operations to sustain/enhance profitability
1.5Warehouse (In-Bound/Outbound and Inventory Management
1.5.1Ensures effective utilization of warehouse resources (Labor, pallets, forklift, trucks) to maintain operational expense within the budget
1.5.2Implement Corporate and Regional procedures and policies in Unique Material Management (URM) and Daily Average Inventory (DAI); DSI (Days of Sales Inventory) or RM/PM ratio to Sales
1.5.3Reviews the Percentage (%) Obsolescence Provision for raw materials and finished goods on a monthly basis
1.6Customer Service
1.6.1Ensures accurate and timely processing of sales
orders
1.6.2Ensures that all customer issues are promptly resolved
and are reported to the senior management team
1.7Others
1.7.1Leverages with neighbouring NWF countries similar materials in the region to achieve cost-efficiencies
1.7.2Initiates, analyzes (including cost benefit), recommends and implements projects and /or innovations for cost improvement of raw and packaging materials.
1.7.3Conducts regular meetings with suppliers to review performance and to discuss issues & concerns
1.7.4Submits all required Management reports (local & regional)
