Operations Manager

Role Description:

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City, responsible for overseeing the Engineering dept, project installations, daily plant and production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and timely output. This role includes planning and managing production schedules, monitoring workflow, and optimizing resource allocation across departments.

The Operations Manager coordinates with procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to support continuous operations and minimize downtime. They will implement and improve operational procedures, track performance metrics, enforce safety and compliance standards, and drive cost-effective practices. The role also involves mentoring supervisors, supporting workforce development, and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Strong operations and production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, 5S) and basic knowledge of quality management systems.
• Proficiency in using productivity and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP or MRP systems) to monitor KPIs and generate operational reports.
• People management and leadership skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management in industrial or fabrication settings.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound decision-making.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in steel manufacturing, architectural metal products, or construction-related manufacturing is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years experience
• Willingness to work on-site in Quezon City and be present on the production floor as needed.
