Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end recruitment strategy for the Battery Group, covering Motolite (OMMC), Philippine Batteries Inc. (PBI), and Ramcar Technology, Inc. (RTI). This role oversees a team of Talent Acquisition professionals and ensures the timely acquisition of high-quality talent across manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, corporate, technical, and leadership positions.
The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to develop workforce plans, strengthen talent pipelines, enhance employer branding, and continuously improve recruitment processes, systems, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of eight Talent Acquisition professionals.
- Set performance expectations and monitor team productivity and recruitment delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Workforce Planning & Recruitment Strategy
- Partner with business leaders to understand current and future talent requirements.
- Develop sourcing strategies for critical, specialized, and high-volume positions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key and hard-to-fill roles.
- Provide talent market insights and hiring recommendations to management.
Recruitment Delivery
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition approval through offer acceptance.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of approved manpower requirements.
- Oversee executive, technical, specialized, and high-volume recruitment.
- Monitor recruitment performance and ensure achievement of hiring targets and service levels.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a strategic recruitment partner to business leaders and hiring managers.
- Provide guidance on candidate assessment, selection, compensation, and hiring decisions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address recruitment challenges.
- Present hiring updates, risks, and recommendations to management.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline Development
- Lead campus recruitment and industry partnership initiatives.
- Expand sourcing channels, talent communities, and employee referral programs.
- Represent the organization in recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent-related activities.
- Strengthen the company's employer brand and position the organization as an employer of choice.
Recruitment Analytics & Process Improvement
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, trends, and hiring effectiveness.
- Prepare and present recruitment reports and insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and recruitment standards.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
Work Arrangement & Mobility
- The role is primarily based in Quezon City.
- The incumbent may be required to report to the company's plant in Sta. Maria, Bulacan from time to time or as needed, depending on business requirements and management direction.
- The role requires flexibility to travel to the plant for recruitment activities, stakeholder meetings, workforce planning, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive recruitment experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Proven experience leading high-volume and strategic recruitment across multiple business functions.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, technical, sales, and corporate positions is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations and multiple business units is an advantage.
- Exposure to ATS and HRIS platforms such as Workday is preferred.
