Description

The Operations Manager ensures smooth coordination between all hostel departments to create a seamless guest experience. They maintain high boutique-quality standards by overseeing cleanliness, atmosphere, and facility functionality across the property. They support and guide department supervisors by solving operational issues and ensuring accountability within each team. They also monitor daily operations to keep the hostel running efficiently without disrupting the social environment. Lastly, they help drive profitability by overseeing revenue strategies, occupancy, and inventory management while maintaining excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily hostel operations and staff.
  • Ensure high guest satisfaction and handle concerns.
  • Supervise housekeeping and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor bookings, occupancy, and operational performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and company standards.
  • Control operational costs and inventory.
  • Prepare reports and support business growth initiatives.

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in high-volume hostels, boutique hotels, or fast-paced F&B operations
    • Solid experience in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management
    • Proven ability to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
