A well-established bakeshop company with a nationwide footprint, known for delivering high-quality baked goods through company-owned and franchised stores. As they continue to expand and strengthen their operational excellence, they are looking for a highly driven Operations Manager with deep experience in the food industrypreferably in bakeshop or bakery operationsand in franchise management.

Job Role Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee operations, ensure operational consistency across all branches, and support franchisees to meet brand, quality, and profitability standards. This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence across company-owned and franchised locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations of company-owned and franchised bakeshop branches nationwide.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, operating procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor store performance metrics, including sales, productivity, waste control, and customer satisfaction.

Franchise Management

  • Act as the main operational partner for franchisees, providing guidance and support to ensure operational consistency and brand compliance.
  • Conduct regular store audits, operational reviews, and performance evaluations of franchise locations.
  • Address operational challenges and escalate issues as needed while maintaining strong franchise relationships.
  • Support franchise onboarding, store openings, and operational training.

Process Improvement & Quality Control

  • Develop and continuously improve operational systems, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Ensure product quality, food safety, and consistency across all branches.
  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, QA, and Marketing teams to improve overall store performance.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and coach area supervisors, store managers, and operations staff.
  • Provide operational training and performance feedback to field teams.
  • Coordinate closely with Head Office departments to align operational goals with overall business objectives.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare operational reports, performance dashboards, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Analyze operational data to identify risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Food Technology, or related field.
  • 58 years of operations experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably in bakeshop, bakery, QSR, or restaurant operations.
  • Strong experience managing franchised operations is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards, inventory control, and multi-branch operations.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
