Operations Manager

Flying Tigers Express is a growing logistics and express delivery company where operations move quickly and decisions are made in real time. This role works directly with daily shipment movement, issue resolution, and coordination with the operations team, riders, and partners. It is a hands-on role focused on execution rather than purely administrative or reporting work.

We are looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and resourceful, who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership in an early-stage, fast-moving operational environment.

Experience working with logistics couriers, airport operations, or startups is recommended, as the role demands adaptability, process improvement, and hands-on coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Operations (Primary Focus)

- Oversee day-to-day shipment operations and ensure timely issue resolution.

- Ensure shipment statuses are updated regularly in coordination with the operations team.

- Work closely with office staff to clear backlogs and close unresolved shipments.

- Coordinate with couriers and logistics partners to maintain delivery performance.

- Support and guide the operations team in executing daily tasks and processes.

Performance & Reporting

- Monitor operational performance and prepare basic management reports.

- Flag risks, or recurring operational issues.

Finance Support

- Track operational collections and expenses.

- Oversee petty cash and operational fund disbursements.

- Support basic operational OPEX tracking and fund requests.
