Job Description

We are seeking a Mall Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Arca South. The role ensures seamless mall operations, excellent customer experiences, and a thriving business environment for our merchants. The role handles tenant relations and supports the mall's facilities management, security, housekeeping, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Management & Planning

  • Support the General Manager in the formulation, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the overall/top-line objectives, goals, strategies, measure,s and initiatives of his/her specific mall assignment.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance and recommend improvements.

Mall Operations Oversight

  • Help manage day-to-day operations across Engineering & Maintenance, Security, Housekeeping, Marketing Initiatives, CSR, and Sustainability.
  • Conduct regular mall inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Facilitate merchant orientations and strengthen merchant relations.
  • Monitor cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.
  • Help ensure timely renewals of permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.

People Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Associates and Associate Managers.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance feedback, and recognition.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and career development of subordinates.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as liaison with executive management, merchants, government partners, and customers.
  • Ensure smooth handling of disputes, incidents, and media relations.

Other Functions

  • Perform management-mandated tasks and special assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related course.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Operations Management within retail or property management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Skilled in project management, planning, people leadership, and problem-solving.
  • Solid understanding of financial and business operations.
  • Strategic, results-driven, process-oriented, and adaptable to complex challenges.
