What we are looking for

We are seeking an Operations Associate to work closely with the Founder on a wide range of execution-heavy and problem-solving work across the business.

This role is intentionally broad. You will support both hands-on execution and higher-level problem-solving, depending on what the business needs at any point in time. Some work will be structured and manual; other work will be open-ended and require you to figure things out with limited direction.

A meaningful portion of this role involves manual, detail-heavy work often in spreadsheets or operational files that requires accuracy, consistency, and judgment. At the same time, you'll be expected to step back, connect dots, and help improve how things are done over time.

This is not a virtual assistant, executive assistant, or scheduling role. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking ownership, switching contexts, and doing whatever is needed to move things forward whether simple or complex.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Founder on cross-functional initiatives and special projects across the company
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks, including manual, detail-heavy work that requires care, consistency, and judgment
  • Work with spreadsheets and operational files to produce accurate outputs
  • Prepare and maintain operational materials, trackers, and files to keep work moving
  • Review processes and suggest practical improvements while maintaining required SOPs
  • Step in where needed to unblock progress, including doing the necessary manual work to get things done right

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, startups, or a similar generalist role
  • Comfortable working across a wide range of tasks, from hands-on execution to problem-solving
  • Willing to spend time on manual, spreadsheet-heavy work while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and thoughtfulness
  • Strong attention to detail and logical thinking
  • Able to work well with ambiguity and take ownership without step-by-step instructions
  • Clear communicator who can summarise progress, findings, and issues effectively
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
