Job Description

  • Assist customers in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities.
  • Provide personalized travel recommendations, itineraries, and destination information based on customer preferences.
  • Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or online chat related to travel reservations, changes, cancellations, and general travel advice.
  • Research and stay updated on travel industry trends, deals, and promotions to provide customers with the most current and relevant information.
  • Use booking systems and travel software to check availability, make reservations, and process payments accurately.
  • Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to secure the best rates and accommodations for customers.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues related to travel bookings in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and update customer records, reservations, and itineraries with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with airline and travel regulations, including visa and passport requirements for international travel.
  • Work with customers to modify or reschedule travel plans, as well as handle refunds and cancellations in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide guidance on travel insurance options and assist customers in obtaining coverage if desired.
  • Upsell additional travel services or amenities, such as travel packages, travel insurance, and airport transfers, where applicable.
  • Assist with group bookings and travel arrangements for corporate clients or special events.
  • Collaborate with team members and travel experts to share knowledge, best practices, and recommendations for customer satisfaction.
  • Follow company guidelines for performance metrics, such as response times, booking accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt to changes in the travel industry and company policies, staying flexible and responsive to evolving customer needs.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and product knowledge to enhance customer trust and loyalty.
  • Adhere to data privacy and security regulations when handling customer information.
  • Handle a variety of travel-related inquiries, from leisure travel to business travel, and from domestic to international destinations.
