Job Description

Ascendion is seeking a skilled and proactive OracleOICDeveloper/ Support Engineerto design, develop, and maintain integrations across Oracle Cloud ERP and external systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OICGen 2 / Gen 3), a strong foundation in PL/SQL, and a solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, PPM).

This role involves both development and operational support, ensuring the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of Oracle integrations that enable seamless data flow across critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

  • Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)leveraging multiple integration patterns file-based, app-driven, and event-based.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Cloud ERPand third-party applications.
  • Work with REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Cloud Financials tables (AP, AR, GL, FA, PPM).

Support & Maintenance

  • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal business impact.
  • Enhance existing integrations for scalability, performance, and compliance with security and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Technical Analysis & Documentation

  • Analyze functional and technical integration requirements, develop design documents, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Support deployment activities, transition solutions to production support, and contribute to operational readiness.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Stay updated with Oracle Cloud releases,OICenhancements, and integration innovations.
  • Provide input for project planning, task estimation, and risk management.
  • Act independently in determining methods and procedures on new or complex assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 yearsof hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (Gen 2 / Gen 3).
  • Strong expertise in PL/SQLand integrations with Oracle Fusion Financials (AP / AR / GL / FA / PPM).
  • In-depth understanding of integration patterns(File-Based, App-Driven, Event-Based).
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials REST/SOAP APIsand data structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on a shifting scheduleas required.

Must Haves / Non-Negotiables

  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)development and support.
  • Strong PL/SQLproficiency and experience integrating with Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Hands-on understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and Oracle Financials data structures.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production.
  • Strong analytical mindset and decision-making under pressure.

Recommended Experience Level

  • Minimum:3 years of hands-onOICdevelopment/support.
  • Preferred:46 years of overall Oracle Cloud or ERP integration experience.
