General Responsibilities
- Contribute to the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from concept development to implementation support.
- Participate in user research and usability testing, applying insights to improve designs.
- Help maintain and refine design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to align on requirements.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs using modern design tools.
- Apply accessibility and inclusivity principles in all design work.
- Stay informed about UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, and share learnings with the team.
- Use data, feedback, and testing to iterate and enhance user experiences.
- Design responsive solutions optimized for both web and mobile platforms.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Good understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and usability best practices.
- Experience supporting user research and usability testing, and applying findings to improve designs.
- Strong visual design foundation with skills in layout, typography, color, and detail.
- Familiarity with design systems and experience contributing to or maintaining them.
- Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Awareness of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) and how designs are implemented (coding not required).
Nice to Have
- Interest in crypto, blockchain, or Web3 products.
- Illustration skills or ability to create custom visual assets.
- Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
