Job Description :
The Production Support Analyst will be part of Data Management team under Finance Data Services organization supporting Citi's proprietary Full Suite and GENESIS systems. The analyst will work closely with other teams across Finance, Risk, Technology and FRSS organizations.
Responsibilities
o Perform daily trend analysis of Operational Matching exception reports
o Review Operational Matching exceptions (SGL orphans) and investigate root cause of new exceptions
o Identify both tactical and strategic remediation to resolve Operational Matching exceptions (SGL orphans)
o Execute tactical data remediation of data quality issues in Full Suite in adherence to existing governance and controls framework
o Identify appropriate strategic remediation of data quality issues
o Perform end-to-end requirements management and end-to-end testing of Full Suite change requests as it relates to strategic remediation of data quality issues
o Raise IMR (Issue Management Resolution) form where identified as the strategic remediation path, and monitor delivery of such
o Manage and address data quality queries/issues on Full Suite-Genesis production data through proper acknowledgement and timely feedback to data users
o Conduct second-level investigation on medium to complex data quality queries/issues on Full Suite-Genesis production data and propose resolution path (both tactical and strategic)
o Escalate timely to appropriate resolver groups, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly
Qualifications
. 2+ years relevant work experience in large financial services, consulting, shared services operations related or similar industry
. Knowledge of Citi's financial and risk systems, financial and regulatory reporting processes and organization is preferred
. Self-starter, quick learner, customer-focused with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently in a fast paced changing environment
. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
. High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity with good track record in establishing partnership and team work
. Excellent written and oral communication, influencing and presentation skills - must be able to present and influence across organization level and functions
. High proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education:- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
