About the Role

The Officer Business Devevlopment- Commercial - Inside Sales functions as a critical link between marketing, business development, and operations, driving new customer acquisition through outbound calling, digital prospecting, and lead qualification. The position works in a fast-paced, target-oriented commercial environment, supporting the Business Development team in the execution of sales campaigns, preparation of proposals, and coordination of client meetings.

This role requires strong communication, data management, and coordination skills, as it combines inside sales execution with business development support, ensuring smooth lead handovers and high conversion rates.

Key Accountabilities

  • Generates and qualify leads through calls, emails, and digital platforms to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Conducts tele-sales and follow-up campaigns to identify potential customers and schedule appointments for Business Development executives.
  • Manages and update Customer Relations Management databases (Salesforce/HubSpot) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Supports the Business Development team in preparing commercial proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
  • Coordinates with Pricing and Operations teams to gather inputs for customized client solutions.
  • Participates in marketing campaigns and trade outreach to promote DP World's integrated logistics offerings.
  • Generate and analyze sales performance reports and lead conversion metrics.
  • Supports request for proposal/ quotation submission processes by ensuring documentation completeness and timely follow-up.
  • Collaborates with Business Development and Key Account teams to ensure smooth lead-to-client transition and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial governance, data integrity, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Communications.
  • 24 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or lead generation preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Training or certification in Sales, Customer Relationship Management, or Digital Marketing preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
