Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Support Staff to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for fresh graduates/experienced professionals eager to learn and take ownership of critical administrative and financial support functions, with a strong emphasis on ensuring timely BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) compliance.

Key Responsibilities

BIR Compliance Support:

  • Serve as the primary internal contact point to ensure all documentation required for BIR monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance is prepared and submitted to the external bookkeeper on time.
  • Gather, organize, and prepare necessary reports (e.g., sales, purchases, invoices, official receipts) for the bookkeeper's preparation of tax filings.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all official receipts, invoices, and compliance-related documents.
  • Proactively learn and adhere to internal procedures designed to support BIR regulations.

Bookkeeping & Data Management:

  • Accurately perform daily data encoding using Microsoft Excel (e.g., sales, expenses, disbursements).
  • Manually write entries and maintain physical Books of Accounts (e.g., Journal, Ledger) in accordance with required standards.
  • Assist in generating basic financial reports as needed by management.

Office Administration & Logistics:

  • Perform essential office errands, including deposit/withdrawal of cash at the bank and sending/receiving official documents.
  • Provide general administrative support, such as managing office supplies and assisting with documentation.

Logistical Support (Optional, but preferred):

  • Utilize the company's motorcycle to efficiently execute local errands and logistical tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (any field, but business/accounting is a plus) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Skills:

  • Must be highly detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas).
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn BIR compliance processes and accounting fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Character:

Honest, reliable, responsible, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid motorcycle driver's license (LTO code A) and confidence in operating a motorcycle for work errands.
  • Prior exposure or experience in a general administrative or accounting support role.
