We are seeking a dedicated medical professional to champion employee wellness and workplace safety. As an OHN or Occupational Physician, you will be the primary point of contact for workplace health. Your mission is to provide immediate medical intervention, manage long-term health surveillance, and ensure the organization meets all Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency & Clinical Care: Deliver prompt first aid, emergency response, and medical triage for workplace injuries or illnesses.
- Health Monitoring: Oversee employee health assessments and track workplace hazards to prevent occupational diseases.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure all activities align with national safety standards and DOLE requirements.
- Wellness Advocacy: Develop and lead health education workshops and wellness initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Strategic Liaison: Collaborate with management to address health-related concerns and streamline safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Credentials: Licensed Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Experience: At least 2 years of dedicated practice in an occupational health environment.
- Key Certifications: BOSH training is highly preferred; PHNAP or BLS certifications are a significant plus.
- Competencies: Strong independent judgment, deep knowledge of industrial health standards, and excellent record-keeping skills.
Manning Requirement:
Occupational Health Nurse (OHN):
- 8 hours per day
- 7 days per week coverage
Occupational Health Physician (OHP):
- 4 hours per day
- 5 days per week
