The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) / Occupational Health Physician (OHP) is responsible for providing primary healthcare services, workplace health monitoring, and occupational health support to employees. The role ensures compliance with occupational safety and health standards while promoting employee wellness and preventive healthcare.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Physician
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Occupational Health Nursing/Physician practice (OHN/OHP)
- Knowledge of occupational health standards and workplace health programs
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Good documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary medical care and emergency treatment for employees
- Conduct health assessments and triage for work-related and non-work-related illnesses/injuries
- Monitor and maintain employee medical records and reports
- Assist in implementing occupational health and safety programs
- Participate in health surveillance and medical monitoring
- Coordinate with management on health-related workplace concerns
- Support health education, wellness initiatives, and preventive care programs
- Ensure compliance with DOLE occupational health regulations
Manning Requirement:
Occupational Health Nurse (OHN):
- 8 hours per day
- 7 days per week coverage
Occupational Health Physician (OHP):
- 4 hours per day
- 5 days per week
