Job Summary: This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and systems engineering assignments and also responds to system management alerts to handle system/operations exceptions, within the assigned enterprise systems of product offerings. Additionally, this position is also responsible for triage change management support.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience or 3+ years DevOps Engineer experience
- ITIL experience (Certifications)
- Understanding of storage systems, Linux kernel, UNIX kernel, UNIX file system, and Windows infrastructure.
- Knowledge of virtual server environments and thin client.
- Knowledge of scripts for automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Understanding of system and problem management tools.
- Problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:- Change management.
- Understanding of storage systems, Linux kernel, UNIX kernel, UNIX file system, and Windows infrastructure.
- Program installation and troubleshooting.
- Intermediate in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, Python, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX and .Net.
- Intermediate Cloud experience AWS, Azure
- Experience in CI/CD.
- Experience in site operations and/or infrastructure.
- Knowledgeable of container orchestration
- Knowledge of scripts for automation.
- Understanding of system and problem management tools.
- Problem solving.
Required Education/Experience:- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Must be in current role for 1 year
- Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
- Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 months
