Job Description

Equicom Services, Inc is now looking for Teleconsultant Doctors for our local medical insurance client | WFH

Requirements

  • Preferably with specialization (OB).
  • WFH setup
  • With Windows device with at least ( 16Gb RAM; 500Gb SSD Storage; Windows 11; i5 Processor)
  • At least 25 Mbps own Internet provider.
  • At least 720p camera.
  • With conducive working environment.
  • Can commit 4-8hrs daily (5x per week)
  • PTR year 2026 and service invoice

Basic Function

As a duly licensed Specialist Doctor, our Teleconsult Specialist Doctors are expected to provide competent medical care in accordance with the current standards of care dictated by the International Code of Medical Ethics through our Teleconsultation services. Our Teleconsult Specialist Doctors are also expected to exercise good faith and honesty when discussing their opinions regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of his/her patient under his/her care.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct teleconsultations using different platforms applicable to the current situation needed for each consultation (either via voice call and/or video call).
  • Elicit pertinent health history from patients and provide appropriate medical evaluation and assessment based on the patients provided health-related details needed for first-line treatment/management via remote consultation.
  • Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to organizational policies and procedures, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as the main source to maintain patient health history records for faster and more accurate information exchange between previous and current Teleconsult Doctors.
  • Generate and issue the following documents after each teleconsultation directly from EMR:
  • Consultation Call Summary (not to be used as a Medical Certificate and should not be used for Medico-Legal purposes)
  • E-prescription
  • Laboratory/Diagnostic Requests approved lists of laboratory/diagnostic procedures under Telemedicine
  • Specialist/ER referrals (as needed)
  • Provide additional services to patients, including:
  • Transferring received calls to other departments for proper handling of non-health related concerns (e.g., calls related to benefits/inquiries are transferred to the CCD hotline for proper handling).
  • Converting voice calls to video calls (and vice versa) as needed for more accurate evaluation and management.
  • Scheduling/booking patients, when needed, using the clients provided platforms/services for laboratories, diagnostics, and/or referrals.
