Job Requirements:

Can work rotating 12-hour shifts

Can work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Has experience driving a van

Job Responsibilities:

Take and record patient vitals, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and temperature

Assist patients in bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Provide patients with mobility support, such as lifting and moving from beds to chairs, assisting with walking, and repositioning bedridden patients

Help patients who need assistance with eating meals

Monitor food and fluid intake of patients, especially those with medical conditions

Communicate changes in patients condition or other concerns to supervising nurses

Assist in containing and restraining patients who are disturbed and display agression or violence

Ensure patient safety through accident prevention and by monitoring for signs of illness or infection

Drive patients and assist nurses on out-of-hospital trips

Drive other staff for errands and patients for activity-specific activities

Maintain a clean environment at patient premises
