We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Operations Engineer to monitor, manage, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. This role involves troubleshooting, implementing improvements, and collaborating with IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network solutions.
- Conduct network performance analysis and optimization.
- Maintain network documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in network operations or administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Extreme, Juniper, Fortinet).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Understanding of network security principles.
