The Network Engineer provides support in overseeing and assisting with the configuration and maintenance of simple to large-scale network and security infrastructure. Responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance of existing infrastructure in a continuous service improvement approach. Provides remediation support to customers through the design, implementation, and integration of network infrastructure, assisting Project Managers with customer projects. Serves as the first-level escalation from the help desk/Network and Security team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Related Work Experience At least 8+ years of working experience in security and network position.
- CISCO Certified
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting IP protocols.
- Vendor management, resource management, project management, and service level agreements.
- Performance tuning, capacity management, consolidation, COS, load balancing technology, monitoring.
- Knowledge Knowledgeable in the following:
- ISO communications stack.
- Problem & performance diagnosis and resolution, support of cross-system technical interfaces.
- Design and build-out of large data networks in the ongoing, critical delivery business.
