As aNetwork EngineerLAN & WAN Operation, you'll design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN architectures that support high-traffic, enterprise-grade systems. You'll handle performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident responsewhile ensuring compliance with strict network security standards.
- Design, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN architectures for enterprise environments
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues using tools likeWireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios
- Leadincident responsefor outages and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams
- Develop and enforcenetwork security policies(firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Automate repetitive network tasks usingPython, Ansible, or similar tools
- Document network configurations, changes, and processes
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Stay updated onSDN, cloud networking, and emerging network technologies
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience innetwork engineering or operations
- Strong knowledge ofTCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, MPLS
- Experience withanyfirewalls,Fortinet , VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Hands-on experience withCisco, Juniper, or Aristanetwork hardware
- Familiarity withnetwork automationtools (Python, Ansible)
- Proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities
