We're on the lookout for a Network Engineer to join one of our dynamic client teams. Our client is a leading provider of IT solutions and services headquartered in Switzerland. With a strong reputation for delivering robust, secure, and scalable IT solutions, the client is expanding its global team to meet growing business demands.
In this role, you'll lead the service delivery and optimization of complex network and security infrastructures, support seamless service delivery. Join a collaborative international team where your expertise and leadership will make a meaningful impact.
Take ownership of the operation, and optimization of enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls)
Plan and implement complex changes across customer environments
Triage and classification of cyber security incidents based on severity, including initiation of appropriate response measures.
Close collaboration with our Blue Team as part of Tier 1 SOC operations for our MDR (Managed Detection & Response) customers.
Respond to high-level escalations, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network issues with a calm and analytical approach.
Collaborate with international teams and contribute to process improvements
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing & switching, wireless or network security (Cisco or Palo Alto)
CCNP or PCNSE certification (or equivalent expertise) is strongly preferred
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service delivery (ServiceNow)
Strong sense of ownership, service orientation, and technical leadership
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
German language skills are a strong plus but not required (Many Swiss based customers)
A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with global teams
Impeccable record of conduct and professional integrity including a clear criminal record background check and credit check
Flexibility to work on any shift (day, mid, and night) including weekends
