Network Consultant is responsible for the continuous operation and performance of the enterprise network infrastructure and provides technical expertise in the day-to-day engineering of the company's LAN and WAN Infrastructure. He will need to be able to work directly with internet service providers, clients and/or other IT groups to troubleshoot outages and is responsible for the troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of all LAN and WAN equipment.

This individual will also analyze and resolve network infrastructure problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide documentation and end user training when required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible to drive P1/P2 War-Room (Network Outage Resolution)
• Work with Project Management / Design Teams to translate initial scope into actionable items
• Support Escalations/Critical Incidents/Changes over the on-call week
• Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices
• Provide forward thinking and be agile in adopting new technologies to meet evolving business requirements
• Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
• Maintain detailed technical documentation (e.g. standards, process, Method of Procedures, Run Books)
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years extensive troubleshooting skills on Cisco Technologies, SD-WAN, R&S with good understanding of NexGen Datacenter & Enterprise Network
• 5+ years excellent conceptual & hands on Experience on Routing / Switching Protocol (like . OSPF,EIGRP, BGP, STP, VTP)
• 5+ years excellent knowledge of high end Switches/ Nexus / Router hardware parts
• 5+ years experience on Enterprise/Datacenter Infrastructure like Flexpod/ VBLOCK Model & Process,Tools like ITILV3, Rally-Agile,HPNA,NNMI, BCI
• 4+ years experience on Monitoring tools like Solarwinds, Nnmi, Splunk, Openview etc
• 4+ years past experience to deal with ISP / Onsite Customer with good communication skills set
• Candidate should have excellent hands on Experience on LAN/ WAN Enterprise Network/ Datacenter Operation & intelligence on INC managements
• Candidate should be open for 24.7.365 Flexible shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco Certification, CCNP
• Experience in using Riverbed Packet Capture
• Datacenter infrastructure / Virtualization Knowledge
• Knowledge in Network Security & Palo Alto
