Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and secure network infrastructure to support business operations.
Job Specifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure and security
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Experience in VLANs, trunking, and network segmentation
- Familiarity with firewall configurations, ACLs, NAT, QoS, and CoS
- Hands-on exposure to Cisco routers, switches, core switches, and voice gateways
- Experience supporting WAN and voice telecommunication solutions
Other Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good documentation and reporting abilities
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting schedule environment
Preferred Certifications / Trainings
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – as a foundation (optional but advantageous)
- Network Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco Security)
- ITIL Foundation (for service management exposure)
